DESCRIPTION:The Fest\nThe LA Shrimp and Petroleum Festival has been rated a top 20 Southeast Tourism Society event. Time magazine described it as “…the best\, the most unusual\, the most down-home\, the most moving and the most fun that the country has to offer.” Famous for its Historic Blessing of the Fleet and boat parade\, which features decorated shrimp boats\, pleasure crafts\, offshore supply boats\, and some of the biggest “muscle” boats of the offshore industry. \nPerfect Love Band performs on Saturday\, Aug 30th at 1:00pm.\nAbout Us\nPerfect Love is a Christian rock band based out of New Orleans\, Louisiana. Perfect Love’s strength comes from God\, and the message in their original songs. Perfect Love is a high energy Pop/Rock band with a purpose to bring the light of God to all they encounter. This 8 piece band brings the sound of the 80’s rock with a twist of today’s pop! Their lyrics are a powerful message of God’s love\, faith\, and overcoming adversity. \nOther festival entertainment includes continuous live music by local and national acts\, an arts & crafts show and sale\, a children’s village\, fireworks\, a car show\, bass & softball tournaments\, the huge Cajun Culinary Classic cooking contest\, and lots more.
