Perfect Love is a Contemporary Christian band. The band was created to shine the light of God to all through their music. Perfect Love’s goals are to bring the spirit of God, with their music to our nation, and to help all people who are in need and in despair.

The band is led by Rachel Fleetwood on lead vocals and piano. Backed with an amazing talented group of musicians that ONLY God could have assembled together!

Perfect Loves performs original music, and some of the top Contemporary Christian cover songs of Today!

The original songs and lyrics by Rachel Fleetwood are all inspired by God! He gets ALL the glory! The lyrics are about Rachel’s personal journey, and the glorification of our Lord Jesus! Co-writers on some of the songs include, Marco Ramos, Rod Fleetwood, Courtney Garris, John Picolo Jr., & Glenn Farley.

Perfect Love’s sound is Pop/Rock/Inspirational with a New Orleans flavor!

The band consists of: Rachel Fleetwood (Lead Vocals & Piano); MaryAnn Eyles (Keys & Background Vocals); Terry Scott, Jr. (Drums); Clint Engvall (Guitar); Donald Ramsey (Bass); and James Rosenbloom (Acoustic Guitar, Cello, & Mandolin).

Rachel Fleetwood

Rachel Fleetwood is a native New Orleanian. She began singing at an early age and knew singing, songwriting and entertaining was her passion. When she was eight- years-old, a pastor pulled her out of the audience and prophesized that her voice would be used like a golden harp to glorify the Lord and many would be saved through her ministry. Rachel has been a professional singer/songwriter and musician for most of her life. She was classically trained by the renowned vocal coach, Mrs. Barbara Benard.

Rachel loves to record and produce music. She has recorded with some of the top musicians both in New Orleans and in Nashville. Rachel’s former band, Vieux Carré Band gave her opportunities to perform countless weddings, conventions and private parties throughout the years.

Rachel has opened and performed for: Keith Urban, Ray Charles, Sir Paul McCartney, Mike Ditka, Emeril Lagasse, Tom Arnold, The San Francisco 49ers, Better Than Ezra, The Pointer Sisters, LeAnne Rimes, Gene Simmons and Midnight Star to name a few. The Vieux Carré Band was also featured in the 2001 New Orleans Superbowl and as the house band for the Mike Ditka television show for the New Orleans Saints.

Rachel shares a passion for animals and animal rescue. She has 4 dogs and volunteers her musical talent for the Humane Society and the SPCA.

Rachel is very active in her community. She currently sits on the Board as the Entertainment Director. One of her other passions is helping the women and children who reside in the local battered women’s shelter. She has spearheaded donation drives to collect toiletries, clothes and toys for the children on an annual basis.

Rachel has recently formed a new band called Perfect Love. Perfect Love is a contemporary Christian Band. Her strong faith, spirituality, and the call on her life is to reach out to others through her original songs. Her songs are about her life experiences as well as people in her life. Her goal is to have her ministry of song reach out and help others who may be or going through adversity in the hopes that it will affect a positive change in their lives.

Rachel’s love of God, family, friends and last, but not least, her furry babies are the most important things in her life that motivate her to continue Gods call on her life.

Clint Engvall

He is a 27 year old full-time musician based in New Orleans, LA.

He’s been playing since 2002 and has a bluesy/rock sound that is influenced by The Edge, Keith Richards, and John Mayer.

Recently, he played with GMA Dove Award winning artists, American Idol top 10 contestants, and toured the US with various bands and groups. When he’s not on the road he can be seen playing in local churches and on Frenchman St.

James Rosenbloom

James Rosenbloom is a renowned musician and composer of sacred music. His works have been performed in twenty-one states, and in five countries.

His debut album, “Small Things With Great Love” reached the top ten on the iTunes ‘instrumental music’ charts, and has been heralded as being, “a breath of fresh air” and one that “speaks to the love of the artist.” James is currently based in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he continues to pursue both composing and performing.

Graduated from Tulane University w/Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in piano performance.

Plays at St.Clement of Rome, St. Catherine of Siena & Divine Mercy Catholic churches. Has played w/several New Orleans-based bands including Swingaroux, Vieux Carre, Table for 6, Limited Edition, Nolafied, Ken Veca Big Band and in a jazz duo called Michael & Marianne.

Serves as a volunteer musician at Oschner & Veterans Administration Hospitals.

Terry Scott Jr.

Terry Scott Jr. is from Gibson, La. He grew up playing in church with his family at the age of 7 yrs old. Later he began playing in his school band, and with artists.

His talents have given him the opportunity to tour with many well known artists in New Orleans such as Dr. John, Marc Stone, Walter Wolfman Washington, Calvin Johnson, Chapter Soul, the Brass-A-Holics and most recently blues artist Eric Johanson.

Matt Schultz

Guitarist and composer Matt Schultz was born in Cincinnati, OH and raised in Northern Kentucky. He grew up with a wide array of music, from the Beatles and Led Zeppelin to Stan Getz and Miles Davis. At age 9, he got his first guitar – a little Martin acoustic – and started lessons at a local music store. By high school, he was studying and playing jazz with ensembles through the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music’s Prep Department. He also played in a country/rock cover band throughout high school. 

Matt attended the prestigious McGill University after graduation and earned a Bachelor’s in Jazz Performance with a minor concentration in philosophy. In his five years in Montreal, he quickly became a staple sideman in the local scene and performed with Jean-Michael Pilc, Adrian Vedady, Christine Jensen, Kevin Dean, Andre White, and Donny Kennedy. He recorded two albums of original psychedelic jazz-rock with the Plastic Waste band, a soundtrack album with singer-songwriter Renee Yoxon, an album as guitarist with singer-songwriter Emmett McCleary, an album of contemporary jazz with drummer-composer William Machado, and recorded and self-produced an EP of original music.

In 2018, Matt relocated to New Orleans, LA where he has been based since. He has performed with local jazz heavy-weights Loren Pickford, Wendell Brunious, and Ed Wise; RnB acts Chrishira Perrier, the Brass-a-holics, the Vegas Cola band, Ronnie Bell, Casme, and Faith Becnel; country artist Chapel Hart; and gospel artists Crystal Rucker, Jhamarrick Campbell and Sean ‘Keys’ Willis.
